OJP WagePilot Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use the OJP WagePilot mobile app.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the OJP WagePilot mobile application ("WagePilot"). WagePilot is provided by OJP Applications Ltd, a company registered in England (company number 12530029), whose website is https://ojpapps.com/. By downloading, installing or using WagePilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use WagePilot.

  1. Acceptance of these Terms

    By downloading, installing, accessing or using WagePilot, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use WagePilot on behalf of an employer or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

  2. What WagePilot does

    WagePilot helps you record shifts, hours worked, pay rates and employers, estimate earnings, and organise pay information. It provides calculations, estimates and informational tools to help you manage your own records.

  3. Important: WagePilot is not an employer, payroll provider or adviser

    WagePilot provides calculations and estimates only. WagePilot is not your employer, a payroll provider, an accountant, a tax adviser or a financial adviser. Nothing in WagePilot is professional tax, legal or financial advice. You remain responsible for checking your official payslips, tax calculations and the terms of your employment, and for resolving any concerns with your employer or with the appropriate authorities.

    Any amounts shown by WagePilot may depend on the accuracy of the information you enter, including hours, pay rates, overtime and other factors. Incorrect or incomplete information may lead to incorrect results.

  4. Payslip discrepancy detection

    Where WagePilot offers payslip discrepancy detection, it is provided as an aid to help you review your payslips. A detected difference is not a definitive determination that an employer has underpaid you. You should always verify any findings against your official payslips, payroll records and your employment terms, and raise any concerns directly with your employer or the appropriate authority.

  5. Eligibility

    You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your country, to use WagePilot. If you are under the age required in your country to consent to the processing of personal data, a parent or guardian should review these Terms and the Privacy Policy with you.

  6. Licence to use WagePilot

    Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use WagePilot on devices you own or control, for your personal (and, where applicable, internal business) record-keeping purposes. The licence does not allow you to redistribute, resell, reverse engineer or copy WagePilot other than as permitted by law.

  7. User responsibilities

    You are responsible for the information you enter or import into WagePilot, for keeping your device secure, and for ensuring you have permission to import and process any documents (such as payslips) that you add. You should keep a copy of your official records and not rely solely on WagePilot.

  8. Acceptable use

    You agree not to misuse WagePilot, including by attempting to access or disrupt the service, reverse engineering the app, using it for unlawful purposes, or interfering with other users or the operation of the app.

  9. Subscriptions and purchases

    WagePilot may be offered on a free basis and as paid subscriptions, for example "Pro Monthly" and "Pro Annual". Prices for subscriptions are presented in the relevant app store before you purchase. Features, pricing and plans may change from time to time. We do not set prices beyond those shown in the app store at the time of purchase.

  10. Renewals and cancellation

    Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the relevant app store rules. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple or Google account, depending on where you purchased it. Unless you cancel, your subscription will continue until the end of the then-current period.

  11. Apple and Google billing relationship

    Purchases of WagePilot made through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple. Purchases made through Google Play are billed and managed by Google. Their terms, policies and refund rules apply to those purchases, and payment disputes should be directed to the relevant store in the first instance.

  12. Third-party services

    If you enable a feature of WagePilot that uses an external OCR or AI provider, that provider is a third party, and your use of such features is subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for third-party services you configure or enable.

  13. Intellectual property

    WagePilot and all content, features and branding in it are owned by OJP Applications Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your use of WagePilot does not give you any ownership in it. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

  14. Availability

    We aim to keep WagePilot available and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. Updates may be required, and some features may depend on your device, operating system and app store.

  15. Disclaimers

    WagePilot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that WagePilot will meet your expectations, that results will be accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or secure. Nothing in these Terms limits warranties that cannot be excluded by law.

  16. Limitation of liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, OJP Applications Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of WagePilot. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

  17. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access to WagePilot if you breach these Terms. You may stop using WagePilot at any time by deleting the app. Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

  18. Changes to these Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when they were last changed. Continued use of WagePilot after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms, where permitted by law.

  19. Governing law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have under the law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by law.
